    Abstract

In the actual transmission shaft, the rotating shaft is connected through the diaphragm coupling to transfer the torque, and not to transfer the moment and the axial force. Because the diaphragm coupling is dependent on the surface contact for torque transmission, the contact characteristics are directly related to the dynamic characteristics of the coupling. Based on the analysis of the structure of the diaphragm coupling, this paper establishes the model of the contact characteristic on the surface of the diaphragm. At the same time, the elastic stiffness of the elastic ring is modeled and analyzed by elastic loop simulation of the elastic stiffness of the rubber ring of the bearing support, and the number of elastic link points, the ring thickness, and the thickness of the nodes are determined.
